A blue 20x4 lcd HD44780 screen connected via serial port to a pc using a PIC16F628A and a MAX232 (the pic is emulating a matrix orbital dispaly @19200 bauds). The display is being driven by LCDSmartie with several plugins: http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/ ------- The serial backpack was developed by Matt Crowley, here is more info: http://forums.lcdsmartie.org/viewtopic.php?t=501 ------- In this video i am showing you the winamp plugin with an spectrum analyzer, and a system stats screen, all screen changes are automatic and you can configure that from the lcdsmartie.
