While trying to take pictures of wolves in the wild I was forced to use and keep very limited equipment and food supply. Even more , any change would be noticed and it could push them away. They were suspicious on everything. I couldn't bring any other camera and couldn't use any tent to sleep...

Summer 1992. Lik, the wolf is in his summer coat, now. ... Wind blows since we came here last week. I can't hear anything but wind. It was still very dark when we started checking the area for possible changes: new marking , footprint etc. Usually it would take us four days waiting for the wolves...
